Our History
Essential Phytosterolins Inc. (EPI) was founded in 1998 and was appointed as the exclusive Moducare® distributor for Essential Sterolin Products (ESP) in North America. Since 1968, ESP under the direction of RW Liebenberg, has been committed to the research and development of Moducare® and to its worldwide distribution.
Moducare® is the only clinically tested plant sterol/sterolin product proven to be effective in immune modulation. Research, including placebo-controlled, double-blind studies, has been published in international medical journals. EPI, in partnership with Essential Sterolin Products, continues to sponsor research programs on an ongoing basis.
